GeneralVerb and GTD Closed

I assume Verb is not using "Getting Things Done" method from David Allen.

If it is, then there are some major issues with the implementation. If it's not, I still don't see the logic of having to create a Project in order to create a task.

Many task don't belong in projects but Verb only allows you to create and manage Projects.

Why is that?

You are correct. We are not trying to replicate GTD in Reverb. We also don't try and use the language that GTD uses. We are trying to be a bit more broad than just people who are familiar with GTD and use more familiar language to less project management savvy users.
